living room reveal + paint secret

Last week, our living room looked like this ((remember how our awesome church community helped out?)).

And this week, we are enjoying a living room that looks like this ((don't mind the unfinished ceiling))...

It's not completely finished, but it's come a long way! The paint color wasn't exactly what I had hoped, but we only spend $7 on  the gallon of paint! That's right, my "trick" is to stalk check out the oops paint shelf at Home Depot. I usually have an idea of what I'm looking for ((greens or yellows were what I ha in mind this time)).

We have found several paint colors we can use for our home ((it may take a few trips to multiple Home Depot locations)) for just $7/gallon. And if you want a second gallon they can always match it. I say spending $42 on two gallons of paint is way better than spending $70!
