5 highlights from my life I captured via Instgram:
- My Bible study leader made cinnamon rolls using The Pioneer Woman's recipe and she sent one home with me to enjoy for breakfast
- As much as I love the Olympics, I haven't been glued to the TV this year. But I had it on in the background a lot...and did I mention I'm watching it via BBC rather than NBC. Life-changing I tell you! Wanna know how to stream it? Taylor can tell you in her post about how to set it up.
- We're in the midst of another home renovation project and this time we're painting the floors in the kitchen! Painting the floor means you have clear everything out and then not walk on it...and as you may guess it's a challenge with the kitchen.
- My office supplies for the new school year came in. I only place an order this big once a year and when it arrived yesterday it felt like Christmas. I couldn't decide which pen to write with first or what to staple!
- I usually stick to drinking water and coffee. Boring, right? In the summer a few more beverages seem to find their way into our fridge and I had to buy Limeade for a lime cake recipe I made last week, so I've been enjoying Newman's Own and am now trying to scheme a way to buy more!
5 blog posts I loved this week ((each inspired me in some way))
- A new series from Hayley on blogging better: The No Brainer Blog
- I loved these points from Anna about growing your blog and branding
- Amy and Lindsay announced they are cooking up something great
- Wise words from Virginia
- Molly wrote a brave and inspiring post which I hope is the start of a financial series
Apparently, I was hungry this week, don't miss these 5 recipes I wanna try:
- I would have never thought to combine quinoa with broccoli like Sarah did
- Jen's mozzarella stuffed meatballs (I know I've said before I'm avoiding meat, but I could make an exception for these)
- Summer grilled pizza recipes from Christa
- I'm with Nicole on craving pumpkin lately and being ready for fall, so these pumpkin pie popsicles sound delish
- Who doesn't love guacamole? Gina shared three versions I wanna try
I'm linking up with:
