Friday: I'm back

Good news! I am back in The Commonwelath (aka Massachusetts). After being out of town for nearly three weeks, I returned last night. What a trip! During the first two weeks, we enjoyed time with almost all of our family, seeing both of my husband's parents, his grandmother, my dad and brother (my mom is no longer living). We drove from Massachusetts to Illinois to Missouri to Colorado to Tennessee to Indiana. He left me in Indiana and continued on home.

I was in Bloomington, IN for the week to attend a meeting with my professional association, ACUI. It was a lot of work, meeting with colleagues from around the country and brainstorming projects to start and continue others. I did manage to take a few instagrams from the past week to share...
(l) the last leg of the road trip for me (2) I learned driving with a blizzard from DQ isn't easy. Thankfully the mister held the cup for me after he took this shot!
While in Indiana, we ate a lot of good food. I didn't take as many foodie type photos as usual, but I did manage to capture these yummy moments!
(l) dinner at Oliver Winery (m) lunch at Finch's Brasserie (r) breakfast on the patio of the IMU
I flew back to MA by myself yesterday. I must say, after as many hours on the road as we had logged in the previous two weeks I was relieved to fly home. I had to change planes in Hotlanta, which I was skeptical about on a late July afternoon, but I made my connection and so did my bag! When I got off the plane in Boston, I couldn't remember the last time I felt temperatures in the 70s...ahh...
(l) hoofing it through ATL to make my connection (r) back in Boston
What plans do you have this weekend? I'm going to do a ton of laundry, a little cleaning and hopefully lay out in the sun. You see, I bought a cute swimsuit at Target before our trip but never had the occasion to wear it!
