truths

The truth is, for the past three (probably more) Wednesdays, I've intended to do WWIW post. It's been in my blog calendar and Tuesday night rolls around and I think, oh crap, I didn't take any photos to document WHAT I WORE (besides IG, but who wants to use those?)...and that means I have to come up with something else to write about. I've thrown together an outfit via Polyvore, a simple DIY, what I love and other last minute type posts. Do you have those? You feel the pressure to put a post together, so you write something so there won't be a void on the blog.

Is that enough truth for one post? I think not. Truth has been on my mind a lot lately and I'm pretty sure it has something to do with being 20 days into #SheReadsTruth. Just some of the truths I'm reminded about:
  • Wait for the Lord; be strong and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord! (Psalm 27:14)
  • My God is so gracious. (Psalm 56:1)
  • God gave us not a spirit of fear, but of power and love and self-control. (2 Timothy 1:7)
As I mentioned a few weeks ago, I love how it integrates social media, especially Instagram and Twitter. In addition, I've been using an app called Remember Me for the verses I want to recall on my own. It's a tool to help you memorize verses. Select a verse to memorize, version of the Bible, set due dates to memorize by and more. It's simple to use and lets me learn more truth. I need those kind of reminders.

What truths are you learning?

  1. I can completely relate to throwing together last-minute posts :) Sometime they end up fun, other times...well, it looks like I threw together a post! I am loving the #shereadstruth community too :) I'm a little behind, but I've been reading of not letting fear rule--such a reminder for me because I often choose fear instead of truth!

  4. I'm loving SheReadsTruth too! And thank you for reminding me of the "wait for the Lord" scripture... I can't be reminded of that one enough, honestly. :)
