June + Friday favorites

{recipe for quinoa salad pictured above, with added avocado}

...taking our road trip

...more dates like this one

...drinking iced coffee

...continuing #SheReadsTruth

...continuing to eat like this (and I'm guest posting at Home for Hire about it today

...spending time outside with the pup and/or gardening
...visits with two of my dear college friends

...re-visiting the 30 for 30 challenge and trying a few different things with my hair

It's more than a week since I shared some favorite links around here, so some of these go back a ways, but I've been wanting to share them:
  • I don't shop much lately, but loved these tips on how to shop Forever 21 as a grown woman.
  • Heidi wrote about a wonderful reminder of the reason for blogging.
  • I've been thinking about branding lately (mostly for work) and these tips from Jen and Erin are worth a read if you're thinking about your blog or shop's brand.
  • If you're a football fan or have traveled to Boston you may find this video funny!
  • I've been a longtime fan of hoop art and just this week I got my very first piece of it thanks to a giveaway win from Beautiful Blendings. But these ideas are calling my name...so many to choose from!
Have a great weekend! What are you up to?
{I'm linking these Friday favorites with Erika}

  4. Yay for iced coffee and college friends!! I sure loved that link to how to shop Forever 21 - I get scared going in there :). And all of those hoop art ideas are amazing. I'm planning on doing something with hoop art in the nursery ... just waiting on the fabric I ordered :)
