over the weekend...

Did you ever have one of those weekends that was nearly perfect? It consisted of balance in things you did for fun, for others and even something for yourself. I'm so grateful to share some snippets from our weekend that struck the right balance of downtime, getting things done around the house and also investing in people.

...watched Forks Over Knives
...used doilies to create a bunch of cards.

...did laundry and cleaned

...started reading Romans as part of the Illuminate challenge
...spent some time in the sunshine on Sunday afternoon

...caught up with one of my college roommates on the phone

...attended a banquet for my husband's seminary program and he graduated from the diploma program ((only two more years to go))
...went to not just any Cinco de Mayo party, it was Cinco de Mustache party!

...relished our relaxed homemade breakfasts

...watched a few episodes of Felicity and of course it made me reminisce about my college days :)

What did you do over the weekend?

  2. I love weekends that are a good mix of fun, relaxation and productivity! I got bridesmaids dresses ordered, read A LOT, booked my honeymoon and took our kiddos swimming! It was all in all a good weekend!
