I've probably said it before, but I'm a Target girl. Case in point, my medicine cabinet which holds the keys to my "beauty routine" with its generic Target versions of cleanser, moisturizer and eye makeup remover. I do tend to splurge on heavy duty moisturizer, essential for winter months.
{1} This face wash is the generic version of Cetaphil, but saves me about $3 per bottle. It comes in a few sizes, I usually opt for the larger size (16 oz. for a little more than $6) to make my money go further.
{2} I love the smell of Oil of Olay and used it for years. But I've switched to the Target version, the best part is that it still smells the same! The thing that's most important to me about my moisturizer is that it contain SPF of at least 15 and this one delivers: daily moisturizer with SPF 15 for about $4/bottle.
{3} When I remove my eye makeup, usually just mascara but occasionally eye-liner and/or eye shadow. I use Target's oil-free eye makeup remover which is about 50 cents cheaper than Neutrogena's.
{4} During the winter months and when I travel to a dry climate ((I'm from Colorado)), I always use heavy-duty moisturizer from Alba very sparingly since it's $16 for 2 oz. I only put it on overnight and it does a great job of fending off flaky patches.
What's your favorite product you use to care for your face?
I'm linking up with Leonora, Heather and Lauren.
When you live in such a cold state, nice moisturizer is definitely a splurge! I have some mineral blush that I got from etsy that I love to use :)
ReplyDeletemoisturizer is such a must for me too!! winters are so long and harsh in manitoba.
ReplyDelete:) oh, I believe it!
DeleteYou can't go wrong with Target branded products - I think their quality is so good.
ReplyDeleteI've found generics are often just as good :)
DeleteI am excited to hear you like the Target brand. I haven't tried any of them yet, I love that the Oil of Olay is even comparable in scent! I use the equate generic of Cetaphil but am weaning off WalMart so this is good to know. Great share. xo
ReplyDeleteglad it's helpful! I hope you like the Target brands too :)
DeleteI need to try the oil free eye makeup removed, because sometimes my face wash just isn't good enough at getting off all my eye makeup. Thanks for linking up!
ReplyDeletei can be so bad about remembering to take eye my makeup off though!
