This week, I am saying hello to...
...new ((to me)) boots
...a couple's dinner with some church friends
...finishing season 1 of Downton Abbey and starting season 2
...clearance priced book shelves now containing my husband's
...a handwritten letter to Grandma
...making these outfit inspirations ((here and here)) out of my closet
...our soon-to-be pretty 2nd floor bathroom ((we hit some serious deals over the weekend))
...3.5 day work week
Can you tell we've been a little more focused on the house than usual? I think it's a combination of the unseasonably warm winter and realizing we've been in our home for almost a year. We spent so much time on the house over the weekend, but it feels good.
What did you do this weekend?
I'm linking up with Lisa Leonard
I've got today off too!! I'll be doing some crafting as well :) I love the boots and good for you for working on the house!!
ReplyDeleteI didn't get anything "crafty" done, but I did get a lot of other things I needed to do, so I feel good about the weekend :)
Deletegosh! i really need to jump on the downtown abbey bandwagon huh??
ReplyDeleteYes! I wasn't a believer until I watched the pilot...and then I was hooked! So thankful it's on Netflix instant queue :)
DeleteI'm proud of you for all the work you have done on your house! By the time the weekend rolls around I am so exhausted from the work week that I never endup doing any of the house projects that I wanted to. So good for you! And yah, I have been hearing abotu downtown abbey EVERYWHERE but still haven't jumped on the wagon. I guess it's time, huh?
