meet(ing) Virginia

Last week, I was in Michigan for my cousin's wedding.  It turned out the city I was staying in, is home to fellow blogger, Virginia of Geeky and Sassy.  So, we just had to meet up!

Virginia and her husband are part of a group working to revive the downtown area of the city.  There are cute shops, like Jilly's Gallery full of handmade glass artwork and The Brown Bag Boutique, a second hand clothing shop.  All the shop owners were so friendly and Virginia knew them all. I think my favorite was The Cheese Lady, where you could sample all kinds of cheeses.  I was a bit overwhelmed by all the choices and forgot to pull out my camera while we were sampling!

While we were walking around downtown, we witnessed a flash mob being filmed ((photo above top left)).

I'm so glad we went out to Michigan and I had an excuse to meet a fellow blogger in person!
