home renovation {reality check}

I have neglected to share some real photos of our house.  It's not pretty.  We have three rooms that are often referred to as "in process" because they're note in any way done.  I'm talking, missing counter tops, unfinished flooring, unpainted ceilings/walls and some missing plumbing between the kitchen, laundry area and spare bathroom.

So, I thought I'd share some images of what you'd see if you walked around our house.  It isn't pretty ((like Pinterest)), but it is honest.  There is potential in this house and I can't get caught up in thinking it needs to be perfect for us to feel at home.

It's going to be beautiful!  I love what we're doing and it can be hard to be patient. Especially this time of year when you do more decorating than usual!  I'm so thankful for my husband's work on it.  While it may not be "Pinterest pretty," it is fully functional and we make it work.  I can't wait to share photos when things are finished.
