thankful on paper {2}

It's week two of Thankful on Paper.  I love having the opportunity to consider who I'm thankful for and tell them.  It's the kind of thing I really don't do on my own, so thank you, Rachel, for this opportunity!

I'm pretty sure I've mentioned it before, but I don't have a lot of IRL friends that are married without kids.  While I love my friends who are married or unmarried, there's something to be said for those friends who are in the same stage of life.  Steph is one of those people for me.  We used to live in the same neighborhood and hung out much more frequently, but we still catch up mostly via g-chat ((I'm addicted)) and talk on the phone.  She's such an encouragement to my heart.

My favorite pastime with Steph includes a cup of coffee and running errands while catching up.  We both live pretty busy lives.  I am thankful for friends to do life with; even the seemingly mundane things like a trip to Trader Joe's or Target, is a joy when I'm with Steph.

We also share a love for our dogs.  I'm grateful for Steph's wisdom in being a dog momma and more.  We also love to get crafty together and have helped each other in party planning for friends ((baby and bridal showers)).  I'm so blessed to know Steph and grateful for her sweet friendship.
