inspiration workshop {fall}

Yes, it's all things fall around here lately.  I can't help that it's my favorite season and nearly everything I see on Pinterest screams "pin me."  Every morning when I get dressed I think of how fall I want to look and how fall I can look given the temperature.  This morning was nearly the perfect fall start, as I checked the thermometer that read 41 degrees ((Fahrenheit)) and shivered when I removed the covers ((we haven't turned on the heat yet))...it's what I call crisp.

Fall means cooking + baking with squash ((pumpkin, butternut, acorn, spaghetti)), a trip to a local apple orchard and changing up the decor inside our house.  I haven't truly decorated our place, so I'm not able to share photos, but since I've been pinning I thought I'd share some favorites.

I love the colors of fall: golden yellows, burnt oranges, rust reds and even the browns.  Living in New England, I am totally spoiled by the beautiful colors around me.  I also love the textures of fall and layering, whether it's clothing or home decor.  There's really nothing I don't love about the cooler weather, changing leaves and return of the warm beverages in my daily routine ((I'm talking hot tea, apple cider or a pumpkin spice latte)).

  1. Great inspirational pictures! I may have to DIY one or two of them this weekend.
