farmer's market recipe {open face grilled cheese}

This morning, I went to the Farmer's Market.  Ahh, how I love the colorful fruits and veggies!
One of my favorite summer lunches when I was growing up was an open-face grilled cheese with tomato.  [My mom totally influenced this was actually her favorite!]
So, when I got home from the farmer's market, I made myself one with the fresh tomatoes.
toast the bread, layer sliced cheddar [I use extra sharp] & broil until cheese melts
secret ingredient: Jane's Krazy Mixed-Up Salt
add sliced tomato on top of the cheese and sprinkle with Jane's

  3. Ohhh, I absolutely adore fresh veggies! Especially tomatoes. Just tonight I grilled zucchini, yellow squash, red onions and broccoli. I wish this was ALL I liked, and I would never have to worry about my weight!
