Why do I blog?

Someone recently asked me.

I don't think I was surprised by the question as much

as I was surprised at my lack of immediate reply.

I knew I love to blog and consider it part of my life's routine,

but I wasn't able to quickly articulate in three reasons why I do it.

I've continued to give it a lot of thought since that conversation

and I'm still formulating the answer I will share with you

later this month as I guest post for Virginia at Geeky and Sassy

during her Social Media Month

But I think it's helpful for me to consider why I do things like blog.
Am I keeping up with friends & family or growing my community?
Is it out of necessity or obligation?
Love for all [or most] things social media related?

I've been blogging for nearly ten months
& it's been a great experience.
I asked for some feedback in January & am doing it again
