a few of my favorite things & giveaway winner

I'm thankful it's Thursday & my last day in the office for a while...

two weeks to be exact.

I don't often do "about me" style posts, but thought I might try one.

So here's a little glimpse into the gal behind the blog...

 1 - I don't like to read, I mean not even a little bit

2 - I rarely finish a book...so many good intentions

3 - I have short-term memory loss...just kidding!
[I work in higher ed, so the not liking to read thing can be hard to explain]

4 - I prefer the mountains to the beach

5 - I am almost never without a jacket...living in Colorado 

& the Northeast has conditioned me

6 - I've been to over forty of the United States

7 - I have never watched Grease from start to finish [gasp]

8 - I travel with Excedrin in case I can't get a cup of coffee
[a sure sign of addiction, I know]

9 - I usually listen to classic rock [streaming KBCO online]

10 - my favorite musicians include: U2, Sandra McCracken,

James Taylor, Sara Groves, Amos Lee, Jack Johnson
