grateful girl {st. patty's day}

Wow, it's been a while since my last grateful girl post,
but since today is St Patrick's Day this one will be a little different.
Happy St. Patrick's Day!

133.  St. Patrick's Day is one of my favorite holidays,
even though I don't actually get a day off work for it.
[Technically, I do get the day off as a state employee in
Massachusetts, but it's for Evacuation day], but nonetheless
I am working today and even have a late night event.
But I just might make my own version of this for the office...

134. This is my first St Patrick's Day with an Irish last name,
which means I need to make this one memorable [keep reading].

135. I will be celebrating St Patrick's Day on Sunday
[because that's the date of the annual South Boston Parade]
by playing some Irish music and eating green foods
[my plan is to dye the milk green and say the leprechauns got it].

136. Last August, went to a game and had tickets on
the Green Monster at Fenway Park.

137. I'm going to Ireland in May!

138. Spring is only three days away...
and I saw my first crocus of the spring while walking the dog yesterday.

what are you grateful for this week?

  1. Pretty claddagh ring - maybe when you're in Ireland if you go to Galway you can see the jewelry shop that started making the original rings centuries ago. I <3 Ireland :) Happy St. Patrick's Day!

  2. You are so cute! I want to go to Boston and go to a Red Sox game and I want to go to Ireland.
I am very grateful for the sunshine we have and the great Spring weather.

  3. How fun! I celebrated St. Patrick's Day by drinking my first Shamrock shake :). I'm so jealous you're going to Ireland :)

  4. Oh how I truly love this! I can't believe you're going to Ireland-- that makes this St. Patrick's day all the more special! You are going to have to take loads of pictures in Ireland :)
