back in town

I'm home in Boston and ready to re-charge my battery.

In the coming week, I have several guest posts lined up for you,

I am off to Guatemala City for an alternative break trip

with eight students and one other staff member.

We will be working with organic waste and making it into fertilizer

...doesn't that sound like fun challenging work?

I'm expecting it to be hard work, but also looking forward to 

getting to see another part of the world.

And it will be warm!

Guatemala is known as the "land of eternal spring."

Which sounds great after five days in Chicago and

what seems like an un-ending New England winter

[it was 25 degrees when I landed in Boston].
