there's nothing like a pot of chili for dinner on a cold day.
i like to make mine in the crock pot & it's pretty simple.
ingredients:
2 cans of dark red kidney beans, drained & rinsed
1 can of garbanzo beans, drained & rinsed
2 cans of stewed tomatoes with zesty green chilies
1 lb. lean ground beef, cooked
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon cumin
drain both kinds of beans, rinse and put into crock pot.
empty contents of tomatoes into crock pot,
add cooked ground beef and seasonings.
heat on low for four hours with lid on.
serve with shredded cheese & corn chips [or however you like it]!
