hosting colleagues in boston this past week was a blast!
we built relationships with each other,
considered what we want our colleagues to learn when they come for the conference in 2012,
and toured sites & restaurants so we can showcase boston.
some highlights included:
potential reception site,
prudential skywalk [overlooking boston]
jfk presidential library, another potential reception site
re-enactment of the meeting at
old south meeting house before the
boston tea party
 |
drum & fife outside the old south meeting house [while waiting in the rain] |
 |
crab crusted haddock with herbed potatoes & grilled asparagus |
and a trip to beantown isn't complete without a
trolley tour of the city,
we had a great tour guide who told lots of stories and gave insights into some neighborhoods of the city.
thankfully, we didn't get any snow [just flurries] while the group was in town.
i hope everyone learned a lot and enjoyed seeing just some of the many sites of boston!
